Materials/Components Used
AK Electronics utilizes various component materials in its products. For connectors, the housing is made from engineering plastics such as PBT, LCP, PA46, PA66, or PA9T, while the terminals are constructed from copper alloy. In cable assemblies, the wire jacket uses materials like PVC, PTFE, or PE, and the conductor is made of copper alloy. These components form the core functional parts of the connectors and cables, including the housing, terminals, and wiring.
Machinery/Production Process
The connector housing is produced by injection molding. Once completed, the housings are moved to the production line for assembly by workers or automated machines. The terminals are made using a stamping press, then plated with nickel, tin, or gold before being assembled with the housing. Finished products undergo cosmetic and functional inspection in the lab, where each unit is tested for continuity and short circuits.

For the existing in-stock samples or need to prepare material to produce sample, we can provide about 20 pcs of samples for free. However, the buyer is required to bear the express delivery cost.

For samples without molds, the buyer needs to bear the mold cost. The mold design fee and product design fee will be borne by us, the seller. After the order quantity reaches a certain amount, the mold cost will be refunded to the buyer. (The specific quantity and mold cost depend on the product.)
